The Great American Road Trip. There is nothing like it. I so clearly, and fondly, recall the many times my dad would come home from work on a Friday night and tell my Mom to load the car—we were heading to the beach.

Carl was up so very late editing pictures last night that we slept in until the ungodly hour of 8:00 a.m. What a blessing.
Day Four – Road to Grand Tetons, Catch Up, and the Absent Minded Professor.

As we continue our journey I have literally hours to kill in the car as we head to our next destination, The Grand Tetons National Park. It is a 9 hour drive from Bryce Canyon.

The 9+ hour drive to Grand Tetons was just fine up until the last 30 miles which seemed liked we drove 90 miles. It took forever. You know how it is when you are SO anxious to get somewhere and it just seems to take forever?
