Makes 2 cocktails

An Old Fashioned where nocino replaces the sugar—walnut, clove, and orange over whiskey.

Ingredients

• 4 oz bourbon or rye whiskey (Bulleit 95)
• 1 oz nocino (Nux Alpina)
• 4 dashes Angostura bitters
• 2 dashes orange bitters

Method

1. Stir with ice about 30 seconds.
2. Strain over a large cube in each rocks glass; express an orange peel.

Note. The established cocktail use of walnut liqueur: it replaces the sugar.
