Brian Miller's take on the Jack Rose—apple brandy, citrus, and grenadine, tuned a touch drier.

Ingredients

For the homemade grenadine

• ½ oz POM Wonderful pomegranate juice
• ½ oz simple syrup
• ¼ tsp pomegranate molasses

For the drink

• 2 oz Laird’s Bonded apple brandy
• 2 oz regular apple brandy
• 1 oz Lemon Juice
• 1 oz Lime Juice
• ½ oz Chambord
• 1 oz Grenadine

Method

1. Make the drink: in a shaker half-filled with ice, combine ingredients. Shake until chilled, about 20 seconds. Strain into a chilled coupe.
