Sweetened Kefir Drink
1 serving · post-activity or hot afternoon · 1 minute, no blender
The smoothie's lightweight cousin—when you want the probiotic-and-polyphenol hit of the Power Smoothie but not 700-plus calories or the blender. Stir and drink.
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain unsweetened kefir
- ½ tsp date syrup
- ¼ tsp pomegranate molasses
- 4 oz cold filtered water
- Optional: squeeze of fresh lemon, or a few muddled berries
Directions
Combine everything in a glass or shaker bottle. Stir or shake until the syrups fully dissolve. Drink immediately, over ice if it's hot out.

Sat fat 4g · Sodium 110mg · Fiber 0g · Sugars 14g (including the kefir's natural lactose)—probiotics + complete protein + a polyphenol touch in a light format
Why this works
Kefir is naturally tart and benefits from a small sweetening element. Date syrup and pomegranate molasses sweeten and add polyphenols without the apple-juice filler of a bottled product. It hits the same probiotic, complete-protein, and polyphenol targets the Power Smoothie does, but at a fifth of the calories and with no equipment—useful as a light post-activity option, a hot-afternoon drink, or a between-meal bridge.
