Christened July 23, 1803, at Nore, daughter of Tollev Larsen of Kjøntveit (Rollag parish register). Her mother was probably Christie Anstensdatter; the christening entry doesn’t name her. Kari’s brother Tollef was the father of Kjersti, who married Kari’s son Halvor, so Halvor and Kjersti were first cousins. No single record says so; three parish entries together do.
